How it works

Four steps. We do the heavy lifting.

You spend a few minutes telling us about yourself. We handle Revenue, the paperwork and the follow-up.

  1. Step 1/4

    Tell us about you

Fill in our short online form with your name, PPSN, contact details and the costs you’ve had, such as rent, medical bills, college fees or working from home. We never ask for your myAccount password.

  2. Step 2/4

Link us to your Revenue record

We ask Revenue to let us act as your tax agent. You approve it in myAccount under MyEnquiries, or sign Form PAYE A1 if you don’t use myAccount. That lets us see your record and file for you.

  3. Step 3/4

    We review and claim

We check every year still open, currently 2022 to 2025, match your costs to the credits and reliefs you qualify for and file the returns. If a year could show tax owed, we tell you first and only file it with your OK.

  4. Step 4/4

    Revenue pays you directly

Your refund goes from Revenue into the bank account on your Revenue record, usually within three to five working days of the Statement of Liability. Then we invoice the fee you agreed at the start. No refund, no fee.

We look at all four years Revenue still lets you claim, and every credit and relief that could apply to you.

  3. 3

We tell you first if a year could show tax owed

Now and then a review shows an underpayment. You hear about it from us before anything is filed, and you decide.

    Plain-English updates at every step

No jargon. You’ll always know where your claim is, what Revenue has said and what happens next.

Questions people ask first

Straight answers about how refunds work in Ireland and what we do for you.

Read all FAQs
How far back can I claim?

Four years. Right now that means 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Claims for 2022 must be made by 31 December 2026, or Revenue can’t repay them.

Can’t I do this myself for free?

Yes. Revenue’s myAccount lets you claim credits and reliefs at no cost. We do the work for you, check every open year and every relief that applies, and deal with Revenue if questions come up.

Will you need my myAccount password?

No, never. Revenue advises against sharing it, and we don’t need it. You approve our agent request inside your own myAccount.

How does my refund get paid?

Revenue pays it straight into the bank account on your Revenue record, or by cheque if there’s no account. Since the start of 2026, refunds can’t be paid into an agent’s account.

What if I owe tax instead?

Sometimes a review shows an underpayment, for example from a second job or extra income. We check first and tell you before anything is filed. Revenue usually collects underpayments by reducing your tax credits over up to four years.

I’ve left Ireland. Can you still help?

Yes. You may be owed tax for the year you left and for earlier years that are still open.
